Vacancies are being advertised for 2 Technical Assistant posts within the Waste Strategy and Operations Group of Caerphilly County Borough Council.
The role centres on coordinating and facilitating the range of waste services (collection, disposal and treatment), dealing with complaints, reporting on performance, responding to information requests, dealing with the Authority’s service to commercial waste customers, undertaking formal presentations and working collaboratively with a range of community organisations and sector agencies to deliver high level performance targets with the aim of becoming a Number 1 Recycling nation.
Candidates should have Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework in Waste Management and/or a management qualification.
In addition, the post holders will assist the Principal Officers in the management, development and improvement of the service, assist in the implementation of the Medium Term Financial Plan savings requirements each year and other service improvement objectives and ensure compliance with all Council Policies and Procedures.
